Ischemia
Ischemia is the medical term for a restriction of blood flow, and the oxygen it contains, to parts of the body. When blood flow is restricted to the heart, this is known as cardiac ischemia.
Typical symptoms include chest pain, also called angina, neck or jaw pain, shortness of breath, and nausea or vomiting. However, for many people, there can be no symptoms at all which is known as silent ischemia
